Father of Sindh ,Haider Bux Jatoi fought for the rights of people and farmers of Sindh, he wanted to root out the brutal system prevailed that time, where does the farmer of Sindh stand today, are the struggles being done for a poor farmer's rights or not ?

:As a matter of fact, water is the major issue of Sindh, living of farmer is associated with water, the condition of Tatta and Badin is worst due to shortage of water, our grand father got Tendency Act passed. In Sindh, no body is enjoying his rights, farmers are not paid dully.

Do you think, feuderal system is responsible for this all ?

I think, there are many elements behind this all. First, our government supports federal system, the feudal lords support government, that's why, democracy couldn't flourish in this country till today. If this brutal feudal system is finished, and then we can have the real democracy, capitalism is also an obstacle in the way of democracy.

If there is democracy, the poor farmers and Laborers will have their rights, that's why we support democracy and we also support "Democracy Pact".

What is your view about Kala Bagh Dam and N.F.C award, should NFC award be given on the basis of province's population or its revenue, and do you think that Kala Bagh Dam is the only problem of Sindh and there are no other problems?  

I think, there are many other problems too like joblessness, new industries are not being set-up. Millions of Acres of lands of Badin and Thata have become infertile due to shortage of water, if Kala Bagh Dam is constructed over River-Indus, then sindh will become like Somalia or Ethiopia . River-Indus only belongs to Sindh. Punjab has 3 rivers, which should be shared with Sindh partly. Indus-river is the only river which fulfils the agricultural needs of Pakistan ; Sindh is given less water that is insufficient for its agricultural needs. The economy of Sindh fully depends on agriculture. If agriculture of Sindh suffers, its economy will suffer, in fact, Kala Bagh Dam is the matter of life and death of 4 krore Sindhis of sindh, which is why we are opposed to this dam, it is more dangerous that Atom bomb for us, which will kill 4 krore and fifty lac Sindhis altogether.
